In 2003, CBC Television produced
a three-part series on Past Life Regression filmed in her clinic with Dr.
Cannon as the key player in the program. This series is currently being
repeated both in Canada and internationally.
Her first book, RETURN – Past Life Regression and You published
in 2004, reached the best seller list in Canada and is now being distributed
around the English-speaking world. Her second book, The Interlife – Discovering
Your Life Between Lives published in 2008, is also receiving wide acclaim
both in North America and Europe.
In 2001, Dr. Cannon won the coveted Instructor of the Year by the National
Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). In 2004, she won the award for Spreading the
Light and information about hypnosis. In 2005, Dr. Cannon was inducted
into the prestigious Order of Braid Council, the centerpiece of the NGH
Awards System that recognizes a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication
and service. In 2006, Dr. Cannon was awarded the Canadian accreditation
to train hypnosis teachers. Dr. Cannon’s accomplishments have garnered
her acclamation as one of the best private practice hypnotherapists in
Canada.
Dr. Cannon is also Canadian Ambassador and Canadian representative on
the Advisory Board of the U.S.-based National Guild of Hypnotists. As an
accredited and award-winning instructor, she is the Canadian accredited
instructor for new hypnosis teachers, a member and accredited instructor
for the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, and
the International Association of Research and Regression Therapies.
The Ontario Hypnosis Centre’s School has thousands of alumni – all
trained in the healing art of hypnosis. Dr. Cannon is the head instructor
for many of the school’s accredited programs including the basic
training for Clinical Hypnosis Certification, Pain Management Certification,
Past Life Regression and Master Hypnotherapy Certification.
Dr. Cannon is a regular public speaker and in 2004, was a featured lecturer
at the University of Toronto’s School of Social Work. Dr. Cannon
has participated in Grand Rounds at Toronto hospitals, where she lectured
to psychiatrists, physicians, nurses and social workers in the healing
powers of hypnosis. Dr. Cannon has written and produced 25 self-hypnosis
CDs and authored many professional publications, including books and e-books
for self and business help. Her new line of home-study DVDs is now available,
with the first title on Public Speaking.
Before opening the Ontario Hypnosis Centre in the heart of Yorkville in
1997, Georgina Cannon was the Managing Director of Burson-Marsteller Canada,
one of the world’s largest public relations agencies, responsible
for its four offices in Canada. Prior to that she was founder and General
Manager of its spin-off, Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations. Georgina spent
23 years in corporate communications before making the decision to change
careers. |
